6 “For behold, I am (A)raising up the Chaldeans,
That [a]fierce and impetuous people
Who march [b]throughout the earth
To [c](B)seize dwelling places which are not theirs.
7 “They are dreaded and (C)feared;
Their (D)justice and [d]authority [e]originate with themselves.
8 “Their (E)horses are swifter than leopards
And [f]keener than (F)wolves in the evening.
Their [g]horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an (G)eagle swooping down to devour.
